You and I are on the same wavelength: truck, sports car/sporty car/tourer, commuter.
I would then use the remaining $53,ooo to buy my wife a really nice car and dinner... She has no interest in cars at all so I’m not even going to guess what that would be.

I can’t imagine what my wife would buy If I told her she could buy a 50,000 dollar car. I’m guessing GTI with plaid seats painted purple.

TRV? Well considering the name comes from the letters in the founder’s name (Trevor), I guess it still works.

My wife would just ask if we could use the money for the house, or vacation, or donation or — “No, dammit! It has to be on a car!” I married a woman who keeps her vehicles forever. Works for me!

now he’s just Trev, but it’s only a phase.

Me too, My wife drove her fist car, a 2001 cavalier for 6 years, and she only sold it because I kept telling her it was too rusty and embarrassing. She actually cried when we sold it. I’m guessing she’ll be driving her Fit for at least ten years if not longer.

Question: can I keep the cars I have now?
Follow-up question: If I keep the cars I have now do they count as part of the three cars?
Third question: Can I spend some of the money on the cars I have now?

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
- $29,950
2011 Jaguar XJL Supersport
- $40,999
1972 Dodge Challenger
- $24,900
Total List Prices = $95,849
So that leaves me $172.95-ish a month for 24 months to use for gas and upkeep. Anything else I guess would be out of pocket.

Man that SRT8 Jeep depreciated a lot. That was a 60,000 dollar car.
